Got a new workout program. Since work is crazy busy I will go to the gym 3 times a week. I got my trainer to design me hour workouts too so I’m not there too long as well.
I did my first on today and it took me 67 mins. She knows her stuff! It’s a full body workout and my body is all sorts of good sore. I’m really happy with it. I just have to stick to it.
In other news, I’m in line for a promotion at work. I just have to make sure this client likes me. What happened was a person left our company and I got most of his clients. The one that will get me a promotion is one of our bigger clients. So the handoff to me is 60 days. If I can prove to them and my company that I’m the real deal I will get a promotion in June.
So work just went from not much to 24/7 monitor my emails and to respond to this client and others ASAP.
Hopefully by June all my hardwork will have paid off both in the gym and at the office.
Oh man what a day of adventures. So I wasn’t able to workout much at all last week cause of work. I got a new program that I’m going to start this week or next week. So I should be able to get back into shape by 2017. Better watch out!
I was downtown near Wall Street to visit some clients. I took the 2 train & got on the Brooklyn bound instead of Bronx bound. So I was in Brooklyn this afternoon for 5 minutes by accident – that was fun.
After work I had a dinner date with a friend down in West Village at this place called Jack’s Wife Freda. So I left my bags at work because I didn’t want to carry them into a restaurant. Taking the subway with no bags is so much better. There’s so much more room for activities!
For dinner, we split Spicy Beet Dip, Perri-Perri Chicken & Malva Pudding. It was all pretty good.
So that would have been a nice end to my night, but it was far from over. The craziest train/bus commute home. There was a crying baby, idiots yelling on their phone & a shirtless hobo wearing a nice jacket all in my train car. I just had my headphones on & just tuned it out the best I could. About a few stops from the end of the line, the hobo lays down and gets “comfortable.” I got off the train before anything crazy happened.
I went to Dunkin Donuts near my bus stop to get a hot chocolate & the cashier hooked me up with some free donuts that I didn’t need, but took anyways. I walk out & I’m enjoying my free donut when this guy runs out the same Dunkin Donuts. Then some people come out yelling at him as he runs away. He just robbed them. Luckily I didn’t go in a few minutes after otherwise I might have gotten robbed.
And now I’m home and exhausted as usual & have to be at work in 9 hours. Lito Adventures strikes again. I thrive in chaos I guess. When I die I can say that my life wasn’t boring.
Well I didn’t get to work put fully last week. Doesn’t look like I’ll be able to this week either. Work is just going to get more and more crazy. It’s all my doing too. My mom taught me how to work hard. I’m just trying to get my hands on all the projects and learn as much as I can. I’m treating it as a competition. Trying to get all the calls and fix all the problems. We are also losing one of the engineers at work so that means there will be more work for everyone. I’m trying to look on the brightside. More opportunities for me to advance.
But I also have to find the balance because I don’t want to work all the time either. I have to work out to get rid of my stress and relax. I’m going to change up my program from 5 days to 3 days. And try to shorten my workouts as well, but they will still be effective. This will give me more time to study.
At least that’s how I think it will work in theory. Hopefully I don’t use the extra time to goof off.
Late night gains. Train ride should be interesting. Didn’t burn as many calories as I normally do. I guess I gotta up the weights a little bit. My body might be getting used to this stuff again.
Also the girl at the front desk asked if I wanted to have a free training session with her…. ummmm… yes? So next Wednesday I got a free training session. We will see how that goes. I didn’t want to be like oh I already got a friend who is a trainer and crush her feelings. It’s also free. So why not?
I’ve also noticed the gym is getting less crowded which is great! So much room for activities!
Two days in a row. The streak is going to end this week though cause I need to visit someone after work either Weds or Thurs. But I’m hoping I get to do my 2 upper and 2 lower days this week. I haven’t done a full week yet of this new program. I feel good though and gotta stick with it.

More memes, etc, etc. My posting is just for myself so I can remind myself. Everyone has to find their own motivation to improve themselves whether it’s in health, work of relationships.
I’m back! So I was so busy last week. I worked another 50+ hours. I gotta figure out how to streamline my job better. Still finding that balance.
Last week I got fitted for a custom suit for these weddings I’m going to in the following months, but it might not be ready for the one in March. So I rented a tux as backup. At the fitting it was pretty cool. I don’t remember being fitted as an adult for a suit. This place has a 3D body scanner that takes measurements. Then they measure you for other stuff. It felt so cool. The guy also said I should have played football cause of my size. He said I was very deceiving in size. I’m not sure if that is good or bad. I found out that my right arm is slightly longer than my left and my posture is slightly head forward.
Last weekend I went to Philly to hang out with my second family while growing up. It was their youngest 30th birthday. I went and ate a lot of food that I probably shouldn’t have had. Just more motivation for me to go to the gym. Haha.
Went to the gym today after work. Going to force myself into it again so I can get all sexy and stuff. I’ve started meal prep and it is pretty good. Allows me to just focus on other things and not worry about eating healthy cause the food is healthy.
So last week was my first full week of work at my new job. I worked like a mad person. I logged about 56 hours. This made me realize that I have no time to food prep & I need to make sure I have a flexible schedule. I had to miss a workout last week cause of long hours. This week I’m going to miss two because of other things I need to take care of.
My life is so hectic, but I’ll manage. I always find a way to get the important things done like paying my bills. I just have to find that balance again.
I took a step in that direction by ordering food for my meal prep instead of spending a bunch of time cooking it. If I had the time I would cook because it is cheaper, but I value my time more at this point. So I ordered 35 meals for a week & had a few of them tonight & they are pretty good. I ordered from Fit Fuel Prep. They seemed pretty average price & per meal is cheaper than what I would pay eating out. So hopefully in the coming weeks, I’ll find that nice balance & get into a nice routine.
